New Media News - January 2007 - Debt - Inflation - US Bankruptcy - Sovereign Individuals vs. Corporate Elitism 9 min 49 sec - Jan 3, 2007 New Media News - January 2007 - Debt - Inflation - US Bankruptcy - Sovereign Individuals vs. Corporate Elitism The Bureau of Labor Statistics is that inflation is really zero for 2006. Hard to believe especially when the US Debt increase reported for the fiscal year ending in September 2006 was 4.6 trillion up from 3.5 trillion in 2005. Total federal “REPORTED” balance sheet obligations are up to 54.6 Trillion in 2006 up from 50 Trillion in 2005. Now considering the truth where inflation is the product of the increase in money supply and money is based upon debt in our fiat capitalistic banker driven equity eating system that benefits those who create debt then if we look at the increase from 2005 to 2006 we see a 9.2% expansion in the money supply which relates directly to INFLATION. In fact it is inflation at is very prime meaning. Now of course it can be off set by statistics by many sources but when debt is increased in our monetary system we have increases in prices because it is the wellspring of currency which pushes prices up as money seeks to buy more stuff. The last straw is to know who owns the debt and how they got trillions of dollars in debt owed to them. When this question is answered in the clear light of truth then the beginning of the solution is found. That solution will reveal to everyone that they have been scammed made so completely stupid and weak that anger will turn to rage and revenge and the world will change as the light of this truth will reveal the path to freedom from the deception. The final recourse. Bankrupt to who? If the creditors are criminals who have scammed and conned nations out of their wealth and treasure then their criminal proceeds are not collectable. They are in fact exposed for what they are and will be dealt with by a future court of opinion that will hold their actions and decept

Resolved Question: Is Chapter-7 Bankruptcy right for me?

I am sued by Capital One for $2500. The court sent me the summons on Aug 17 2007. And it says I have 30 days to file a written response to the court. I have been unemployed for a year already. I can't pay my bills anymore because of the mounting debt, about $ 30,000. I have never filed the bankruptcy before. Is it possible for me to file the Chapter 7 bankruptcy? If I file the BK, will the Capital One lawsuit against me go away? Any suggestion? I need your help. Thanks a lot.

Mossad Agent Pearlman Behind New Bin Laden Video

Prisonplanet.com
Sunday September 9, 2007

Adam Pearlman, the Jewish Mossad agent who once wrote stinging essays condemning Muslims as "bloodthirsty terrorists", has been singled out as the creator of the suspicious "new" Osama Bin Laden video.

From the London Telegraph:

A Californian heavy metal fan, who converted to Islam and became the first American to be charged with treason in half a century, has been fingered as the author of Osama bin Laden's latest video lecture - which left the terror chief sounding like an anti-globalisation protester.

The al-Qaeda leader's first video message for three years featured a bizarre rant against America, with references to global warming, "insane taxes", the US mortgage market meltdown and rising interest rates.

American spy chiefs were quick to name Adam Gadahn, the head of al-Qaeda's English language media operations, as the author of large sections of bin Laden's broadcast.

(Article continues below)

Last October, the 28-year-old "loner" became the first American charged with treason since 1952, for appearing in a succession of al-Qaeda videos under the guise of "Azzam The American", in which he condemned globalisation and made American cultural references.

He was charged in his absence, as he is thought to be near to bin Laden, almost certainly in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

Gadahn, who as teenager reviewed albums for a metal music magazine, moved to Pakistan in 1998 and became an associate of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of the 9/11 attacks. In 2004, the FBI named him as one of seven al-Qaeda operatives planning attacks in the US.

The bin Laden video, timed to coincide with the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, shows the terror chief, his beard dyed black, condemning the "unjust" Iraq war and calling on Americans to "embrace Islam".

What surprised analysts was his use of the language of Left-wing protesters, which showed detailed knowledge of the economic travails of middle America.

Bin Laden referred to "the reeling of many of you under the burden of interest-related debts, insane taxes and real estate mortgage" and blamed "global warming and its woes" on "emissions of the factories the major corporations".

A former senior US intelligence official said: "It has Adam Gadahn written all over it." Mike Baker, a former CIA covert operations officer, said the tape left bin Laden with "the title of biggest gas bag in the terrorist world".

CIA officials said voice analysis of the tape proved it was definitely bin Laden.

References to the election of Nicolas Sarkozy as French president, Gordon Brown's appointment as prime minister and the anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing on August 6 led them to conclude it was filmed as recently as four weeks ago.

President Bush used the release of the tape to reinforce his view that Iraq is the central front in the war on terror.

He said: "I found it interesting that on the tape Iraq was mentioned, which is a reminder that Iraq is a part of this war against extremists.

If al-Qaeda bothers to mention Iraq, it is because they want to achieve their objectives in Iraq, which is to drive us out and to develop a safe haven."

The tape contained no direct threats, but Michael Hayden, the CIA director, gave a speech on Friday, after he was briefed on its contents, in which he said: "Al-Qaeda is focusing on targets that would produce mass casualties, dramatic destruction, and significant economic aftershocks."

American officials said the US government had obtained a copy of the video even though it had not been posted on Islamist websites - sparking speculation that US intelligence has developed an informant or cracked al-Qaeda's cyber security.

Mohamed el-Sayed, of the Ahram Centre for Political and Strategic Studies in Cairo, said bin Laden's words are proof the West cannot appease al-Qaeda by withdrawing from Iraq. "The message is much more threatening this time," he said. "It uses iconic language that suggests: 'The only way to get peace is to convert to Islam.' He's in a state of constant, unending war until he Islamises the world."

But other analysts said that the lack of specific threats is evidence that bin Laden cannot direct specific operations from his base in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

Peter Bergen, a US journalist who has interviewed bin Laden, said producing the video was a risk, as were previous audio tapes. "Every time he releases tapes he lays himself open to detection," he said.

"They are taken out by couriers from the tribal areas in Pakistan. If you can trace the train of custody of these tapes you can find bin Laden. He's keenly aware of that."

Open Question: Should I look to purchase my first home now and close in January or wait until January to start looking?

I've been saving up money for the past 6 months as I started my first real job (full-time bank teller/training to become customer service manager), and I want to buy my own home so that I can start building equity and move out of my parents' house. So I plan on paying off all of my credit card debt ($3500) through a maturing CD, a tuition reimbursement through work, and savings- in early January... with about $5000 left over as a down payment on my first house (looking in the $60-70k range since I'm single and am willing to fix up things as long as it's a good area... plus I have good credit (700+) and am prequalified for a 100% loan through my bank if I decide to use it in lieu of the $5000 downpayment on a traditional loan.) Should I start looking now (in Michigan with it's down market, great time for buying)- or start looking in January when I'm credit card debt free and have the liquid money in my savings account? I know it takes awhile (2-4 months) to buy a first home.

Open Question: It's Hard to Cope and Go On...Please help?

I tried college out for a few weeks, then found that the student debt and force-fed "education" weren't for me. I've wanted for a long time to be a writer, and am looking for any advice on the subject. What types of writing workshops (if any) are most useful for beginners? I would love to write novels, but imagine I'll have to start out with very low-key articles in unread magazines; I'm alright with starting at the very bottom. Please share any advice you have on beginning life as a writer. Thanks in advance!

I accepted a job that I knew I was underqualified for, & the people who hired me also knew I was underqualified for; however, they were desperate for someone and I had enough qualifications to do most of the job

I haven't done good work so far & have been working w/a boss who is extremely hands off. One of my coworkers, who is also my supervisor, is giving me a hard time often because I'm not up to par. He lashes out at me in front of others to hear - and puts me down

The pay is good and my expenses are very high (i have to pay for my mortgage, maintenence, etc and also my parents' debts), so I don't want to leave if they don't fire me. But it's very hard to concentrate on learning the job better because of the psychological hassle

My boss sees what's going on & does her best to quell the conflict. I feel it's not entirely my fault. I've been at the job for a month & they feel that I should be on top of my game by now. I need more of a learning curve and I started off on the foot.

Open Question: Will I Be Eligibile for a Decent Mortgage?

Hi All and thanks for your help!

I am 23, currently a 1st year teacher in CT fresh out of college in my first job. I have a Master's and about $11,000 in student loans.

I am interested in buying a small home this summer. I'm hoping to buy somewhere under $200k.

I have great credit. Never made a late payment in my life. All utilities for a home have been in my name for over 2 years. No debt other than the student loans. I only have one credit card, however, and I use it rarely and for never more than about $100, which I pay in full at the end of every month.

Will I be able to get a decent mortgage for that amount? Being a first-time homebuyer? I will have a down payment of about $20,000 I believe. I can also, should it be necessary, have a member of my family with great credit history co-sign the loan.

What should I be doing? Advice? Is this feasible?

Thanks so much, I'd love to chat with someone who knows a lot about homebuying. Please feel free to email me! I also wanted to add, and I don't know if it makes a difference to a bank or not, that I plan to rent bedrooms to two people, which will add a significant amount to my income each month. Sorry- I make $47,855 this year, and will make $51,500 next year.

Open Question: Can I use debt on the PS3 store?

A recent college grad, the standard lamentations of no job and lots of debt, but, as a guiltless seeker of life in more abundance, I am not willing to settle for a miserable job making a meager income and living life in a box.

Perhaps my ideals are getting in the way of my own development, but I have so much potential and so little life to waste.

The debt above me, the world in front; this is what I see every day, but am now trapped in a post-Heideggerian mindset of being another brick in the wall.

Grad school? Travelling? Peace Corps? Vault myself into the "Real World"?

What steps do I take to find my goal and a glimmer of happiness and functional stability in my overzealous refusal to accept mediocrity as the best or only option?

I'm uninspired and need help to rationally or passionately embrace the freedom of existence in times of the repression of the individual.

(Interests are travelling, journalism, volunteerism, philosophy, learning, life life and more life!)

Cheers.

Open Question: IRS - forviveness of debt tax question.?

Open Question: comparing american and the ussr?

whats amazing to me is that a poor country was able to advance so quickly to strike fear into the heart of a superpower around the world. and they did it without running up a huge debt, the way America has while trying to compete against the USSR. sure, the Soviets had to kill millions of people to do it, but its not like America hasn't killed a ton of people on its way to the top. nowadays Russians scientists are a very competitive alternative to American scientists, because of its education standard.

if American education and efficiency would be forced to compete with Russians, on *fair* terms, who would win? Im American, and sometimes Im a bit skeptical. America needs to reevaluate its education system quickly, instead of playing politics and crying about the war. I was hoping to get more answers then this. I guess most people just cant get off the war subject. There is a life outside of Bush and the Iraq war.

Open Question: need help with debt...please anyone!?

I am not in any debt, I am using the books to budget and to learn about cash. I work at a hospital and have a TSA through the Hospital, but my contributions are not matched. I also have a Rollover IRA. There are no ELP's (Endorsed Local Providers in my area). There is one 2 hours away. I need to learn more about mutual funds and if I can have an ELP manage my TSA & Rollover for me or If I can do it myself. I am just very confused on how to move them and then how to manage them or have them managed. I really just want to pick something with a long history of good returns and put it away and forget about it.

1) Is the Financial Peace worth buying, in my situation, if I already have the money makeover?

2) Is the ELP worth driving two hours for? Can a long distance relationship like that work?

3)IF no to number 2, How can I learn what I need to know about TSAs & Rollovers and how to manage the funds on my own by picking long term good performers?

Thanks, in advance!

ok about a week ago i was in debt 15,000..to tell you the truth, i was pretty comfortable with that..but something happened and now ill owe 25,000..just thinking about it makes me want to throw up and i start to sweat real bad. I never waned to cross 17 because thats when i get iffy and now im screwed. I make decent money but itll take 2 years to pay that off. Now my questions is, is there anything i can do..obviously, if you owe money, you need to pay it off, not move it around with debt consolidation. I know, but im really stressed out and i need some advice. Please no comments like "your pathetic" or "racking up that much was stupid"..whats done is done. i mean i checked my credit score and its 800..but id rather have a score of 690-710 and owe 5,000 than this..

If you look around and ask how people are doing financially they might say ok, because they are embarased to speak the truth. They do not want other people to know how much debt they are carrying. Weather or not they are even employed or are struggleing finacially because they think the jone's might be doing better than they are. The truth is the majority of people are increaseingly haveing a tough time making ends meet and are not able to pay their bills on what they make. Tell me the truth how much are you struggleing? Have you seen the occassional person walking by the side of the road or camping under the bridge and you just don't seem to think if we are such a prosperous nation why do we not seem to care or even to know when our nieghbors are struggleing? What are your thoughts? Is it out of sight out of mind?

Bin Laden also spoke to the ongoing situation in Iraq throughout the tape, heavily criticizing the Bush administration.
He also speaks to recent issues grabbing headlines in the United States, referring to "the reeling of many of you under the burden of interest-related debts, insane taxes and real estate mortgages; global warming and its woes..."
"To conclude," bin Laden says, "I invite you to embrace Islam." He goes on to say: "There are no taxes in Islam, but rather there is a limited Zakaat [alms] totaling 2.5 percent."

Hello,

Im a complete newbie at bookeeping for my online crafting. For tac purposes I want to start recording my income which is all comming from paypal right now....Also my expenses (using a debt card) is also recorded in my paypal account as well....What are the most important information I need to record from that?

Also Is paypal's history alone good enough to record from ?Or does everything logged in paypal's history need to be supported by a reciept?

For example I have a copy of the customer's invoice by an online host....and then I have paypal's version of the invoice number, which one do I record? Both? Do I do the same for expenses? Does it matter?

Thank you in advance. * TAX not tac

lol

Open Question: question about debt consolidation?

does debt consolidation pay off your balance as a whole and you pay them lower #'s..or does it pay your monthly bills? cuz if its just monthly rate, then screw that. but if they will pay off my entirebalance and then i pay them at a lower rate, i might consider that

Open Question: As a typical American, why should I care about the Federal Government's debt?

And if you don't like your school system, you can pay to put your kids in a private one. It could be the same for health care, if you wanted more personal care, you could go to a private hospital.

I just think we do an injustice to people by allowing so many to go without health insurance. Our health care system today benefits the rich - those who can afford plastic surgery out of pocket, and hurts those (like me) who can't afford the $200-300 a month out of my paycheck for insurance. If I have a medical emergency, I'll have a lifetime's worth of debt. There should be something better.

Open Question: new mobile home or keep renting?

My wife and I are talking about purchasing a new mobile home. We have been renting an apartment for 3 years and have a baby on the way. We currently have a 7 year old. She just started working, so we bought a new civic (which was much needed). We started house shopping but found out, since we cannot include her because of her past credit, we cannot finance a house in our area even though we can afford it. We like this area for the school system. We want to be able to afford a home, and for her to go back to school in the future (no more income if we purchase a house). We started shopping mobile homes, but I hate the depreciation. For the m.h. we want, they require $2500 down. We are trying to save that up, but I was thinking we could pay off her debt with that and buy a house, but we still will not be able to afford a home in this area. I do get overtime, raises, and promotions at my job, but I don't want to rely on that. We want invest , while she goes to school. Thank you.

Open Question: Do you guys want to save America?

If you do please vote for Ron Paul. I'm not feeding you guys bull s h i t. He's the real deal, he will get the poor out of poverty, bring more jobs, save the American working man, get the nation out of debt, get the U.S. out of other countries affairs.

He cares and he will bring real change. He will get big brother out of our daily lives.

www.ronpaul2008.com Working Americans like lower taxes. So do I. Lower taxes benefit all of us, creating jobs and allowing us to make more decisions for ourselves about our lives. Whether a tax cut reduces a single mother’s payroll taxes by $40 a month or allows a business owner to save thousands in capital gains taxes and hire more employees, that tax cut is a good thing. Lower taxes allow more spending, saving, and investing which helps the economy — that means all of us.

Real conservatives have always supported low taxes and low spending.

But today, too many politicians and lobbyists are spending America into ruin. We are nine trillion dollars in debt as a nation. Our mounting government debt endangers the financial future of our children and grandchildren. If we don’t cut spending now, higher taxes and economic disaster will be in their future — and yours.
In addition, the Federal Reserve, our central bank, fosters runaway debt by increasing the money supply — making each dollar in your pocket worth less. The Fed is a private bank run by unelected officials who are not required to be open or accountable to “we the people.” We cannot continue to allow private banks, wasteful agencies, lobbyists, corporations on welfare, and governments collecting foreign aid to dictate the size of our ballooning budget. We need a new method to prioritize our spending. It’s called the Constitution of the United States. The right of an innocent, unborn child to life is at the heart of the American ideals of liberty. My professional and legislative record demonstrates my strong commitment to this pro-life principle.

In 40 years of medical practice, I never once considered performing an abortion, nor did I ever find abortion necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman.

In Congress, I have authored legislation that seeks to define life as beginning at conception, HR 1094.

I am also the prime sponsor of HR 300, which would negate the effect of Roe v Wade by removing the ability of federal courts to interfere with state legislation to protect life. This is a practical, direct approach to ending federal court tyranny which threatens our constitutional republic and has caused the deaths of 45 million of the unborn.
As an OB/GYN doctor, I’ve delivered over 4,000 babies. That experience has made me an unshakable foe of abortion. So called free trade deals and world governmental organizations like the International Criminal Court (ICC), NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA are a threat to our independence as a nation. They transfer power from our government to unelected foreign elites.

The ICC wants to try our soldiers as war criminals. Both the WTO and CAFTA could force Americans to get a doctor’s prescription to take herbs and vitamins. Alternative treatments could be banned.

The WTO has forced Congress to change our laws, yet we still face trade wars. Today, France is threatening to have U.S. goods taxed throughout Europe. If anything, the WTO makes trade relations worse by giving foreign competitors a new way to attack U.S. jobs. NAFTA’s superhighway is just one part of a plan to erase the borders between the U.S. and Mexico, called the North American Union. This spawn of powerful special interests, would create a single nation out of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with a new unelected bureaucracy and money system. Forget about controlling immigration under this scheme.

And a free America, with limited, constitutional government, would be gone forever.

Let’s not forget the UN. It wants to impose a direct tax on us. I successfully fought this move in Congress last year, but if we are going to stop ongoing attempts of this world government body to tax us, we will need leadership from the White House.

We must withdraw from any organizations and trade deals that infringe upon the freedom and independence of the United States of America. The war in Iraq was sold to us with false information. The area is more dangerous now than when we entered it. We destroyed a regime hated by our direct enemies, the jihadists, and created thousands of new recruits for them. This war has cost more than 3,000 American lives, thousands of seriously wounded, and hundreds of billions of dollars. We must have new leadership in the White House to ensure this never happens again.

Both Jefferson and Washington warned us about entangling ourselves in the affairs of other nations. Today, we have troops in 130 countries. We are spread so thin that we have too few troops defending America. And now, there are new calls for a draft of our young men and women.
We can continue to fund and fight no-win police actions around the globe, or we can refocus on securing America and bring the troops home. No war should ever be fought without a declaration of war voted upon by the Congress, as required by the Constitution. Under no circumstances should the U.S. again go to war as the result of a resolution that comes from an unelected, foreign body, such as the United Nations.

Too often we give foreign aid and intervene on behalf of governments that are despised. Then, we become despised. Too often we have supported those who turn on us, like the Kosovars who aid Islamic terrorists, or the Afghan jihads themselves, and their friend Osama bin Laden. We armed and trained them, and now we’re paying the price.

At the same time, we must not isolate ourselves. The generosity of the American people has been felt around the globe. Many have thanked God for it, in many languages. Let us have a strong America, conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations. The biggest threat to your privacy is the government. We must drastically limit the ability of government to collect and store data regarding citizens’ personal matters.

We must stop the move toward a national ID card system. All states are preparing to issue new driver’s licenses embedded with “standard identifier” data — a national ID. A national ID with new tracking technologies means we’re heading into an Orwellian world of no privacy. I voted against the Real ID Act in March of 2005.

To date, the privacy focus has been on identity theft. It was Congress that created this danger by mandating use of the standard identifier (currently your SSN) in the private sector. For example, banks use SSNs as customer account identifiers because the government requires it.

We must also protect medical privacy. Right now, you’re vulnerable. Under so-called “medical privacy protection” rules, insurance companies and other entities have access to your personal medical information. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in order to comply with standards dictated by supra-national organizations such as the UN‘s World Food Code (CODEX), NAFTA, and CAFTA, has been assuming greater control over nutrients, vitamins and natural health care providers to restrict your right to choose the manner in which you manage your health and nutritional needs.

I have been the national leader in preserving Health Freedom.

I have introduced the Health Freedom Protection Act, HR 2117, to ensure Americans can receive truthful health information about supplements and natural remedies.

I support the Access to Medical Treatment Act, H.R. 746, which expands the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments.

I oppose legislation that increases the FDA‘s legal powers. FDA has consistently failed to protect the public from dangerous drugs, genetically modified foods, dangerous pesticides and other chemicals in the food supply. Meanwhile they waste public funds attacking safe, healthy foods and dietary supplements

I'm sorry about all the extra details. But I want to spread the news.

Open Question: Need Advice, how many people pay 2 car payments??

We talk about the National Debt, and owing 9 trillion dollars as if it is just a problem that will disappear. But...did you know that we owe this money to a PRIVATE organization? The Federal Reserve is NOT a government agency. It's a 'quasi-private' agency. Your income tax is used to pay interest on this debt. The money goes into the pockets of the shareholders of the Federal Reserve. This is not a 'conspiracy boy' issue, a Democratic issue or a Republican issue. This is simply an issue that EVERY American shoud talk about. How much do you know about our nation's finances? Don't you think you ought to know more? Trade deficit is NOT money owed to other countries. Trade deficit is when you import more goods than you export. Bonds aren't the answer either. Bonds account for only 4 percent of the debt.

Open Question: Need Advice, how many people pay 2 car payments??

I have a car payment of 347 on a 2007 Mazda 6, but will refinance for 300 a month real soon.
My other car is a 95 Ford Taurus., with no car payment.

I live in colorado and having a 4x4 SUV is very smart so is it safe to add another car payment to get an SUV.

I make about 3000 a month. with no credit card debt.
Please list how much you pay per month if you have two car payments? I need to cars cause im married, but

3000 a month after taxes
I pay 550 for rent
Im not sure how you could get a decent SUV for 3000, and saving up to pay a car in full is not feasible for me. It would take two or three years. Just wanted to note that I am refinancing to get a lower interest rate.

8.99% to 6.5%

Open Question: Debts incurred from oversea?

right now i am working in the construction field and within 2 yrs i will be making $38/hr with an added $35/hr benefits package. I really dont see any college that pays that well upon graduation, but time and again i hear from folks that college is the best route. The way i see it if i cant get a starting job of at least $70,000 after doing 4yrs in school and accumulating a hefty debt while at it and at the same time not making any money whats the point of college? id say im better off with this job where i can learn and earn a real good wage while at it, as opposed to college where im learning but falling heavily into debt with tuition and other expenses. I just turned 19 so i dont yet know the world inside and out, but tell me im wrong ?

Open Question: BF is in DEBT what do I DO? Can anyone bounce back?

I knew getting into my relationship that my Bf was in debt....we've been together over almost 2 years now and I thought his head was above water, as I never heard anything about anymore problems. Now, I found out that his accounts have been frozen by lawyers and all this debt is still hauting him. He's an AMAZING man who treats me so well and I love him more than anything to where we are even talking marriage and have looked at rings, the whole deal....but this debt is scaring me. Can anyone bounce back? Or is my fairytale marriage dream a bust now?

Open Question: Debts incurred from oversea?

I have 500 pounds debts in the UK but I am living oversea now. I may never go back or even on holidays. But I still want to pay off the debts, how can I do that while I am oversea?

I understand the bank has already passed my case to the creditor agency, so is it useful if I contact the bank directly? What about the creditors’ charges?

Or can I authorize a friend in the UK to pay it off on behalf of me or how about sending a foreign draft?

Open Question: Is the Australian government still in debt??

If you're reading this, it means I'm either dead, or injured beyond recovery.
If you're reading this, it means I've failed at the game of life. Life is all
just a game. Thing is, instead of 5 lives, you only have one. Like so many
before me, like so many to come, the sacrafice that others have made were in
vain. Corrupted by the surroundings around me, I was a victim of my circumstances,
and I let my circumstances get the best of me. I took for granted everything that
I ever had, and everything that I could have had.

But it isn't all just about me. My life, though miserable from my perspective,
is nothing compared to what others have to endure. There are people around the
world who don't have water to drink or work seven days a week in some factory
making three dollars a day without overtime. Perhaps ignorance is bliss. Some
of these folks don't know how much greener the grass is on the other side.
Like them, people such as myself have no idea just how difficult these
peoples lives are. Like light and darkness, two sides of a coin, they are
synonymous. It is a true tragedy of the human spirit that people benefit from the
pain of others, conceptually knowing or not. One of many possible definitions
of evil.

If you've read this far, please know that I at least made an attempt to
change what I had become. To reverse the irreversible damage at least to a
degree of comfort. You wouldn't notice 99 degrees from 98, but I tried.

In this game of life, there are two sides: the physical and the mental.
These two sides can further be broken down if one wanted to over analyze.
Beleivers and non-beleivers, good and bad, smart and stupid, rich and poor,
apples and oranges. To this day I cannot understand why people couldn't
understand. This feeble corporeal shell that I inhabited was just that: a
shell. It could only tell people so much about who I was. If actions spoke
louder than words, then were those actions worth taking if peoples
perceptions were warped because of my appearance? Know that I tried to
change my shell the best that I could, but that trying to put a triangular
prism into a square hole can be pretty hard to do. Unless that triangular
prism is small, like me.

I had realized that my objective was to preserve what the American dream
originally stood for. Life is relative. One second your important and
people come to you for answers or look to you for help, the next you're
all alone and not so important. All-Star atheletes who become quadraplegics,
and politicians found in the office with their secretaries in positions
unimaginable find themselves no longer in said positions and instead in new
ones. Oftentimes much more uncomfortable and much more difficult to live
through.

I was never truly that smart. Nor was I that strong. What the hell I was
I have no idea. Perhaps I was placed on this plane of existance to view
others and see how strong or how smart they were. To see how far those
strengths got them, and to compare and contrast and see how I would
never be able to get that far because my weaknesses overshadowed what
talents I did have.

However, I had an ability to sense in people their intentions: more than being
able to tell happy from sad, I could read people well. Those who envied
me I couldn't help but laugh at. There was nothing about me that was
worth being jealous over. Those who realized that I envied them, I hope
they are understanding.

My new car, my different varieties of American Express, my big feet - the
only truly masculine aspect of my frail frame, did they all really matter?
New cars become old cars. Credit cards create debt when abused. Big feet
stink - especially when you're on them all day.

I can say that I beleive in God. Maybe not from the warped perspective
of others, but I could that tell God was with me during my days. I don't really
think this God cares what alleigance you pledge because the God realizes
that said allegiances have been bent and twisted by man to the benefit of a
few. There are certain universal emotions that can break language and
tradition and allow us to understand one another regardless of where we come
from. When you run for a long time or bench amounts of weight which you can't
handle, you become tired. A baby cries when it needs to be fed, when it needs
to be loved, or if it's agitated. Poking your big toe with a needle creates
pain. All of us can understand these things, and God knows this. People know
that killing is wrong unless they were unable to comprehend what killing is
mentally. If Cain and Able were raised on an island and one day Cain killed
Able, Cain would feel the universal feeling of remorse for his actions, unless
he was truly evil, he was insane, or he was mentally incompetant. I truly beleive
that if you live your life following the basic bread and butter principles of
being a civilized human being and generally try to be a good person or at least
attempt to make up for wrongs done in the past, that you will not be sentenced
to damnation.

I don't care if I'm in hell, there were things I did that I wasn't proud of,
but know that I tried to redeem myself whenever the hell I could. I face
judgement for the consequences of my actions and choices knowing full well what my fate
may be. God, forgive me for giving into this physical plane, for I should have
realized that I would be taking none of it with me when I died. From dust one
comes and to dust one once again ends. I have always been the type to gain
experience through trial and error, you know this. There is so much that we do
not know about our existance, and it really doesn't matter if we know the truth
or not. We should just live with what we do know, and in turn we will discover
more about ourselves as a result. God, thank you so much for giving me life
and giving me the ability to live my life with such an open mind. Even if this
mind is warped through living in this plane, can all of my thoughts truly be
warped? Was I not able to see past those barriers, was I not able to break
them one by one and eventually see the greater picture? Even if it was
too late?

Live every second of every minute of your life as though it is your last. Time,
an instrument of humankind created by people to better understand their world
around them, is always present and sometimes past. There is always a future even
when there isn't. Life is invaluable, a precious gift that cannot be surpassed.

Give back to those who haven't been given enough. Follow your heart and you'll
be able to tell who needs a helping hand from those who don't.

To all those maidens who I never got to love: may you find true love and live a
long and prosperous life of happiness. There'll be good times and there'll be
bad times. May you endure them with a love so strong that it makes you happy to
wake up everyday. When you grow old and death parts you from that love, may the
memories that you share keep you alive until that day when, one day, you see that
love again. Love was always there and always will be, you must grasp it with your
heart. When your heart feels warm and starts beating harder, you realize that you
get closer to it.

I came to the realization that no one deserves to be with me, because I deserve
to be with no one. This corporeal form was not so catching to the eye. This mind was
too stubborn to be able to keep anybody around. Cursed to walk this earth alone, I
watched others in their happiness, or at least trying to experience it. I envied them,
because I wish I could have experience what they have and what they share. But perhaps
in hindsight I was being selfish, because it wasn't all about me. At all.

Thus, the one thing I wished to have experienced the most I will be absent from.
The one thing I regret having missed out on more than anything else.

If you've read this far, you probably think I was some psychotic pessimist.

You're probably right. May God have mercy on my soul.

Open Question: I'm kicking my roommate out in GA. My name is the only name on the lease. Am I doing this right?

My roommate moved-in in May. He did not sign a lease or any other papers. Everything was done verbally. We agreed to $485/month rent and $200/month for June and July when he would be gone. It's September and he has only paid me $680 of the $1885 he has owed me, and it has taken me asking him each time for him to give me any money. He has had friends over for weeks at a time running up all the bills and using my stuff, and he is a disgusting slob. I told him in late August that he has until October to be out and I'll waive September's rent knocking down his debt to me to $690 just because I want him out that bad. I'm afraid he can get the backed rent to me, but I still want him out. Do I need to get him to sign something? If so, what? What do I do if he isn't out by October? And is there any hassle-free way to get my money?

Open Question: How do I get old debts off my credit report without waiting the 7 years?

I am 20 years old and my family always moved around a lot, because my dad was military, I recently applied for a few credit cards and all of them were denied, so I decided to check my credit report. Apparently there were 2 unpaid doctor's bills for $46 and $111, obviously if I knew about them, I would've paid them, they are very low amounts. I dont believe it is fair that they should be able to haunt my credit for 7 years because I didn't even know about them. If I pay the balances, is there a way to have them removed so they no longer have a negative effect on my credit? I hope someone can help me because this is really nerve racking! Thanks! =)
